Paper Plate and Cup Hot-Air Balloons
Help your kids make a fanciful hot-air balloon from items you can find around the house.
What you'll need:
• Classic WhiteTM dinner plate Paint
• String
• Glitter, foil stars, sequins, beads, other decorative items
• Comfort Cup® by Chinet®
• Construction paper
• Hole punch
Here's what to do:
1. Begin by decorating the back of your paper plate with paint, and all the various decorations you've collected.
2. Decorate your paper cup the same way, beginning by covering the cup with construction paper.
3. Punch two holes near the bottom edge of the paper plate and one hole at the top.
4. Punch holes on either side of the paper cup.
5. Attach the plate to the cup with string.
6. Hang the balloon from the hole at the top of the plate.
