Paper Plate Clock

Help children learn to tell time with a clock made from a paper plate.

What you’ll need:
Chinet® Classic White™ Dinner Plate
Magic Marker
Construction Paper
Scissors
Thumbtack
Small Eraser

Here’s what to do:
1. Write numbers on the paper plate in their appropriate areas to simulate a clock face.
2. Cut clock hands, one long, one short, from construction paper, making sure the hands will be short enough to not overlap the edge of the plate.
3. Find the center of the plate and push the thumbtack through first the ends of the construction paper hands and then the plate.
4. Push the eraser onto the pointed end of the thumbtack, to shield the pointed end from little fingers.
