Directions

Include the whole family in the DIY activities with these stylish coasters! A wonderfully fun craft for the kiddies, these watercolored paper coasters are sure to impress. So have the scissors at hand and the paint brushes ready, it's time to let out your inner Van Gogh!

1. First you'll need to cut out the coaster shapes. Trace 3.5" diameter circles onto the base of the Chinet® Square Dinner Plates. (QUICK TIP: Trace around the mouth of a drinking cup to accomplish an ideal coaster shape). Cut out the traced circles.

2. Lay out the cut circles and start water coloring! This is a great activity for kids. If you're not a master painter, ombre palettes and splattered designs are a safe bet for beautiful hand-painted coasters. Let them dry thoroughly.

3. Once dried, stack the coasters into sets of 3 to 6. Package the stacks by tying them with jute twine. These thoughtful favors are sure to leave your guests feeling appreciated!
