Are Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups recyclable?
Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups are made with Polystyrene, a #6 plastic, which is recyclable in some locations. Please check with your local municipality for their recycling programs.
Where are Chinet® Cut Crystal® products made?
All Chinet® brand products are made in the USA, with the exception of Chinet® Cut Crystal® wine glasses and cutlery.
Can I put hot food/drink in Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups?
Yes, you can put hot food or drink (up to 150 degrees) in the cups or on the plates. Warning: could be hot to the touch. Do not put food or liquid in or on Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates or cups that have just been taken out of the oven or off of a skillet.
Can you bake with Chinet® Cut Crystal® products?
No. Not for use in ovens or microwaves.
Can Chinet® Cut Crystal® products crack or chip?
Yes, Chinet® Cut Crystal® products can crack or chip when dropped.
Are Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups allergen free?
Yes, Chinet® Cut Crystal® products are free of peanut, tree nut, egg, soy, dairy, wheat, fish and shellfish.
Are Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups dishwasher safe?
No.
Are Chinet® Cut Crystal® plates and cups microwave safe?
No.

Yes, Comfort Cup® by Chinet® insulated hot cups are free of peanut, tree nut, egg, soy, dairy, wheat, fish and shellfish.

Yes.

No.

No. Microwave use is not recommended.

No.
Why doesn't my lid fit my Comfort Cup® by Chinet® cup?
If when using a Comfort Cup® by Chinet® cup and your lid doesn't fit, be sure you have a Comfort Cup® by Chinet® lid. The lid is black and reads Chinet® Comfort Cup®.
