6 red apples
2/3 c. oats
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. unsalted butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. apple cider
Ice cream for serving
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut a circle around the stem of the apple and core the center of the apple using a paring knife or apple corer to remove all the seeds. You should go about three-fourths deep into the apple.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Add in softened butter and vanilla, mixing thoroughly with a fork until it clumps together.
Once complete, begin stuffing the mixture into each apple until full. If making in advance of a meal, place the apple in the refrigerator until you're ready to bake.
From there, place the apples into a large baking dish. Pour apple cider in the bottom of the pan.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Check on the apples every 15 minutes while baking.
Feel free to make the apples extra juicing by pouring additional cider on top.
Once the apples appear tender and darker in color, remove from the oven and immediately serve on Chinet® Cut Crystal® with a scoop of ice cream on top.
