1 can (16 oz) Pillsbury Grands Blueberry Biscuits
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
3 Tablespoons maple syrup
2 Tablespoons butter
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Approximately 3-4 Tablespoons half and half (or milk/cream/flavored coffee creamer)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8 x 8 baking pan.
Cut biscuits into quarters and place in a medium bowl. Mix sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over biscuits. Toss to coat biscuits in sugar mixture.
Arrange coated biscuit pieces in the bottom of a baking dish. In a small microwave safe bowl, heat blueberries and maple syrup for one minute.
Add butter, and microwave for a minute more. Pour blueberry mixture over the biscuits. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center. Cool for 10 minutes.
While cooling, mix up glaze in a small bowl - mix powdered sugar, vanilla and whatever liquid you are using until desired consistency is reached. Pour over biscuit bake.
