Kale Chips

Light, flaky, savory kale chips make for a healthy, munchable appetizer.

1 to 2 bunches of kale
1/3 cup of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 cup of fresh mozzarella


De-stalk the kale and spread large kale pieces out on a baking sheet then brush generously with olive oil on each side. Sprinkle a teaspoon of sea salt evenly across the kale.

Bake at 425 degrees F for approximately 5 minutes—the kale should turn a little brown. Turn over each piece of kale and bake until light brown. Evenly sprinkle a half-cup of fresh mozzarella cheese across the baking sheet and bake 1 or 2 minutes until cheese is melted.
