Cake Pops Served on Chinet Classic White Plates

Quick-Cleanup Cake Pops

When your dream of a homemade birthday cake is crushed, there’s no need to panic. Make cake pops in a pinch with this quick-cleanup cake pop recipe. 

Ingredients
  • 1 cake (store bought or homemade)
  • ½ package (8 oz.) prepared frosting
  • 18 lollipop or cake pop sticks
  • 1 package (14 oz.) chocolate candy melts or baking bar
  • Non-stick cooking spray
Directions
  1. Crumble cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  2. Mix in frosting until cake is sticky.
  3. Grease ice cube tray with non-stick spray.
  4. Fill ice cube tray with cake mixture.
  5. Place one stick in each cake pop.
  6. Freeze for 20 minutes or until cake pops are firm.
  7. Melt chocolate in microwave and stir until smooth.
  8. Remove cake pops from freezer and pop out of the tray.
  9. Dip cake pops in melted chocolate and top with sprinkles.
