1 large loaf, Italian Bread
1 cup leftover gravy, cold
1 cup leftover cranberry sauce, cold
1 cup leftover stuffing, cold
1 pound, leftover turkey, white and dark meat 2 each,
Sage leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place a sheet pan in the oven. Keep it in the oven until needed. Slice the Italian bread lengthwise. Spread the cold gravy onto one side of the bread. Spread the cranberry sauce on the other side.
Now spread the stuffing onto the gravy side, followed by the turkey. Sprinkle the fresh sage on top of the cranberry sauce and season the sandwich with salt and pepper. Close the sandwich and rub both sides with butter. Remove the hot sheet pan from the oven.
Place the sandwich onto the hot pan then place a cast iron skillet or weighted pan on top of the sandwich to compress it like a Panini. Heat the sandwich for 5-7 minutes or until it has been heated all the way through. Serve the sandwich with your favorite chips or side salad.
