Cheers to You, Mom!

Nobody has a tougher job than moms. I have some incredible mom friends, and this year I wanted to celebrate them with a “Cheers to YOU!” Mother’s Day get-together. There is nothing quite like spending quality time with your favorite mom friends – especially when there are “Mom-osas” and strawberry wine slushies involved. Celebrate the amazing moms in your life with a morning of fun, laughter, delicious treats and drinks with some of my tips for a stress-free Mother’s Day celebration.

For the floral balloon letters, I simply popped the flowers off of faux floral bouquets and hot glued them to the balloons.

At the party, we indulged in flaky croissants and a decadent semi-naked layered cake. Keep the floral theme going with a fresh flower cake topper – simple and beautiful.

Mothers Day Cake

I served OJ and champagne “Mom-osas” in Chinet® Cut Crystal® cups. I love how these cups add a touch of class and elegance, while still being disposable. It’s the best of both worlds!

A Chinet®Classic White All Occasion plate made the perfect serving dish for our vanilla bean frosted cookies. Bonus – it made for easy (and eco-friendly) cleanup!

By far, the strawberry wine slushies were the hit of the party! They are easy and SO good – a perfectly refreshing party beverage! Serve them in stylish Chinet Cut Crystal stemless wine glasses to perfectly match any theme or décor.

Strawberry Wine Slushies

Serves: 4


  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup Sauvignon Blanc
  • Juice from ½ of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Strawberries (optional)


Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with a fresh strawberry (optional).
