Start by making a batch of homemade popcorn using the popcorn kernels, oil and salt. If you're in a pinch for time, feel free to use air-popped or microwaved popcorn. After the popcorn is popped, remove leftover kernels and lay out on a prepared cookie sheet. Salt the popcorn as needed. Next, make the marshmallow mixture by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and gradually stir in the marshmallows. Once the marshmallows are melted, immediately remove from the stove and pour over the popcorn.
