Thanksgiving season is upon us and it’s time to start planning your yearly Thanksgiving table! I host Thanksgiving dinner for my entire family every year and I live for it – I’m one of five kids and they are all married with kids, so it’s A LOT of people. I start planning the Thanksgiving meal weeks ahead of time and I start gathering decorations weeks before that. It’s a few days out of the year that we are all together and I really try to make it special.

This year I’m doing something a little different with my decor – I’m decorating with pink! I’m loving the non-traditional colors trend and I decided to run with it. I decided on pinks, maroons, soft greens and velvet for my color palette.

I chose to use old crates as centerpieces and filled them with fall foliage, white pumpkins and pink florals. I also tied a white and burlap ribbon on the box to bring some pattern to the table.

At each place setting, I wrapped a rustic green charger with burlap and stacked Chinet® Cut Crystal® dinner plates and Chinet® Classic White™ appetizer plates. To spruce up the disposable cutlery, I designed and printed a “grateful for you” pocket and placed the knife, fork and spoon inside.

I also designed a coordinating ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ logo and Mod Podged them to Chinet®Cut Crystal® stemless wine glasses.

Around the table, I placed velvet, glass and large pink pumpkins, and played around with the height using candlesticks tied with ribbon. I alternated my green plate chargers with ribbon to match my crate centerpiece, as well as burlap to bring a nice, rustic feel to the table. The Chinet products perfectly match my theme and make for an easy cleanup, meaning more time with my family. Isn’t that what Thanksgiving is all about?
