Israeli Salad

This side dish is among the most well-known national dishes of Israel.  It is simple, healthy, and best of all, packed full of flavor.

  • 1 bunch of grape tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 long, seedless cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 orange pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 can of black olives sliced
  • Almost a full can of Israeli pickles, finely chopped
  • Fresh juice of 1-3 lemons to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  1. Place tomatoes, cucumbers, orange pepper, black olives and pickles in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Top with fresh lemon juice and stir until all ingredients are coated.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
