Thanksgiving Kids’ Table Ideas

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s time to start planning your kids’ Thanksgiving table! I have a few ideas for you to ensure your kids have the best Thanksgiving ever.

The key to a perfect kids’ Thanksgiving table is entertain, entertain, and entertain!

Kids don’t enjoy the food and conversation aspect of Thanksgiving as much as adults do, so it’s important to keep them busy. I always like to have a few different games, activities, and treats for the kids to keep them having fun.

This year, Mariah Leeson of Giggles Galore and I have designed a few printable games to use for your kids’ Thanksgiving table.

Mariah designed a Thanksgiving Bingo game that will keep them playing for hours, especially if you have a large group. You can even use candy corn and M&Ms as playing pieces. The game is played by one child or adult calling out the name of the image that is printed out in a stack of coordinating cards. Once the image is called out, players place a candy on that image on their bingo card.

Once you have the entertainment and games all figured out, you can start working on the cute kids’ Thanksgiving table décor.

I started off by using ceramic fruit baskets as the table’s centerpiece. They are PERFECT to house all the candy pieces, crayons, Bingo calling cards, and printable leaves that will keep the kids playing all day long.

I surrounded the cartons with faux, real, and fabric pumpkins to bring out some color.

Lastly, I set a simple place setting. I used a 12×12 piece of cardstock as the placemat and set down a Chinet Classic® Dinner Plate. On top of the plate I placed a Chinet Classic® Dinner Napkin wrapped in a printable pumpkin napkin ring.

The napkin ring was a way to bring some dimension to the place setting and seemed like something my kids would love. You can download the pumpkin ring here.

The last thing I did was fill the Chinet Crystal^® 9 oz Cups with orange soda and topped it off with a cute polka dot straw.
