Chai-Spiced Apple Cider

Warm nights by the fire call for the warm, spicy flavors of apple cider.

    Place a large stock pot on the fire grate. Combine the apple cider and water in the saucepan.

    Bring the cider to a gentle simmer.

    Add the chai tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg to the saucepan. Stir well to combine all the spices.

    Simmer for 10 minutes then remove the tea bags.

    Stir in the honey and taste the cider.

    Add bourbon if using.

    Pour cider into Chinet Comfort® cups, top with whipped cream and serve.
