Tips for Hosting a Spring Brunch

A simple brunch is a great way to spend time with your friends or family members. It’s especially a favorite during springtime and is a perfect way to get together for baby and bridal showers

If you’re looking to host a brunch, don’t let yourself become intimidated by the prep work. You can put together a beautiful tablescape with very little time and effort.

Simple tips for hosting a spring brunch:

1. Use Disposable Products

No one said you had to break out the fine china and linens! Keep the meal relaxed and simple by using disposable products.

Chinet Crystal® plates, cups, and cutlery offer premium strength with an elegant swirl design that perfectly matches any décor. They even have the only premium disposable wineglass widely available!

If you’re looking to add a pop of color or pattern to your table, wrapping paper makes an excellent table runner. It’s a unique and creative way to bring color to your table without having to worry about cleanup. At the end of the meal, you’ll be able to gather the corners and toss everything in the trash or recycle bin.

You can even use disposable plates under cakes and to display condiments! Since Chinet Crystal® plates are clear, they look great, and there are no dishes afterward— that’s a win in my book.

2. Pay Attention to Details

Small details make the biggest difference! You don’t have to spend a lot of extra time to let your guests know you were thinking about them. Subtle touches can speak volumes.

For this place setting, I layered a Chinet Crystal® dessert plate over a Chinet Classic® dinner plate. To give the setting a little more detail, I also added a sprig of eucalyptus between the two plates.

Even something as simple as a napkin can take your table to the next level. For example, Chinet Classic® dinner napkins can be elevated by simply tying them into a knot and adding a small sprig of flowers. It adds a touch of nature to your spring brunch without all of the hard work!

3. Create a Simple Floral Arrangement

Floral arrangements are great for any meal, but you don’t have to spend a lot of money on them. You can purchase some beautiful flowers at your local grocery store!

Gather the flowers together with a rubber band and cut the stems so that your flowers sit just above the top of your vase—this will give your floral arrangements a full appearance.

4. Embellish Pre-Made Food Items

Contrary to popular belief, not everything you serve has to be made from scratch. Take store-bought desserts and place them on cake pedestals along with fresh berries, small flowers, or herbs. Mint is a great garnish for desserts!

No one will ever know that you had a bit of help from your grocery store bakery. You can also transfer foods from your store’s deli onto Chinet Crystal® dinner plates and dress them up with a few fresh herbs.
