Grilled Cheese Dippers

Grilled cheese dippers on a Chinet Classic compartment plate

These dippers are an easy and fun spin on the classic we all know and love, grilled cheese—reimagined into small roll-ups filled with ooey-gooey goodness and toasted to perfection in garlic butter.

The recipe is just as simple as grilled cheese, only requiring 3-4 ingredients, and can be whipped up by your kiddos with minimal supervision. White bread is loaded with your favorite cheeses, rolled up tightly, then cooked until you get that beautiful golden-brown crust that grilled cheese is known for. If your roll-ups try to unroll on you before cooking, you can use a toothpick to secure them—just be sure to remove them before serving!

To satisfy both simple and refined palettes, there are two variations of dippers: a grown-up version with more complex cheeses, including the nutty and rich gruyere, as well as our kid-approved version, with simple, undeniably delicious American cheese.

Enjoy a batch (or two) of these dippers on their own or pair with your favorite tomato soup. You can try our hidden veggie tomato soup that will sneak some extra veggies past picky palettes. Thank you, Kasim Hardaway, for this twist on an old favorite!
