Campfire Apple Crisp

Eating apple crisp out of a Chinet Classic® Bowl

Crispy apples, melty butter and sweet sugar make for a fall campfire dessert you can’t resist.

  • 1

In a large bowl, combine apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and 2 teaspoons apple pie spice. Set bowl aside.

  • 2

In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, butter and 1 teaspoon apple pie spice.

  • 3

Lay out six large pieces of aluminum foil, large enough to hold one cup of filling.

  • 4

Place one cup of apple filling on each piece of foil, top with ½ cup of oat filling.

  • 5

Fold foil along the edges to create a sealed packet.

  • 6

Set packets on top of grill grates, not directly above the fire.

  • 7

Cook apple packets for 15-20 minutes.

  • 8

Remove packets and allow them to cool for 5 minutes.
