Colorful Monster Mash Halloween Party

Colorful, silly monsters make for a fun, not-so-scary Monster Mash Halloween party the whole family will love. Invite your friends over for a crazy fun night of monster games, decorations, and treats.

If you are looking for something different than the typical black, white and orange Halloween color scheme, you are going to love this bright and bold party bursting with color. There are no tricks here, just a party full of treats!

I love Halloween, but when I’m planning a party for my kids I typically gravitate toward the cute and colorful ideas, opposed to the spooky and creepy. This party is not only super cute and fun, it’s simple to plan and host, too.

I started by creating a focal point for my sweet treats. I painted Chinet Classic^® Dinner Plates with bright colored paint. Once the paint was dry I added giant googly eyes to some of the plates. I used striped paper straws and paper to create floating eyeballs on some of the others. I used these silly monster eyes and a tassel banner to create a colorful and fun backdrop for our sweets table.

A table with a black and white striped tablecloth is the perfect spot to display all of your sweet monster-themed treats. I purchased lots of store-bought goodies and dressed them up to fit with our silly monster party theme. I added lime green icing and candy eyes to brownie bites and gummy eyes to cupcakes for some quick and easy treats. Don’t forget to make sure you have plenty of Chinet Classic^® Dessert and Lunch Plates on hand for your little monsters to put their treats on.

I used Chinet Crystal^® 15oz Stemless Wine Glasses to make the cutest monster containers for all of our party essentials. I love being able to transform common items I usually have around the house into extraordinary party crafts, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with how these monster cups turned out. I filled the painted cups with Chinet Classic^® Dinner Napkins, Chinet Crystal^® Cutlery, candy and party horns.

When I’m planning a kids’ party I always like to have lots of fun activities to keep them busy. The kids could take their turn trying to feed the hungry monster at our Halloween monster bean bag toss, or they could channel their inner artist and build their own monster mask.
